1. About Toki

Toki (時) is an iOS application that helps users build a daily morning meditation habit by temporarily blocking selected apps using Apple's Screen Time API. Apps are unblocked once the user completes their daily meditation session.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Toki, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

3. Subscription & Purchases

Toki is free to download. Access to premium features requires a paid subscription processed through Apple's App Store. All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds, except as required by applicable law or Apple's own policies.

4. Privacy & Data

No account creation is required. All user data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to external servers. We do not sell your data to advertisers or third parties. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Screen Time & Family Controls

Toki uses Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls APIs to manage app blocking on your device. By using Toki, you grant the app permission to use these APIs solely for the purpose of enforcing your configured meditation schedule.

6. Usage Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the application
  • Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities
  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Toki is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Toki and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the application.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
